This is your chance to get involved in making a film. Participate in the writing, storyboarding of a 3 minute short filmed and edited by 3 different editors during the festival.
Highlighting Michigan musicians and costume designers, this showcase features a fashion show followed by a live performance by Detroit's own FlashClash.
To reinforce and promote the Michigan filmmaking community by sustaining an event that includes educational workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities along with exhibition venues which screen recently crafted Michigan-made films. MFF strives to build partnerships between local entities involved in supporting the Michigan film industry including festivals and universities.
The Michigan Film Festival is organized by Pider Enterprises in partnership with the West Michigan Film and Video Alliance, Grand Valley State University, WKTV and Kendall College of Art and Design.
KCAD
Kendall College of Art and Design hosts the Production Workshop and panel discussions on Saturday from 9-5pm.

Grand Valley State University's Pew Campus hosts the opening night ceremony, screens works referred by Michigan film festivals and universities and the Scriptwriting, Storyboarding, editing and sound design workshops.
